It is with much joy that I announce the forty first year that our congregation will participate in the “Whose Birthday is it, Anyway?” program.
As an important mission of our church, to share
our blessings with those in need, this program reminds us of the true meaning of Christmas and the reason we celebrate the
season.
For those unfamiliar with this beloved program, it offers us the opportunity to purchase gifts for those less
fortunate than us. Our gifts will be the only ones received by many of the recipients this season. The agencies
we will support this year are:
Olivet United Methodist Church – Preschool through High School
Methodist Youth Services – Young Adults
Glenview Terrace – Seniors
Please make note of the sign-up schedule for this year:
Sunday, November 1, sign-up in person, after church
Tuesday, November 3, sign-up on-line, using Sign-Up Genius. The link will be provided through the church
website (use the Calendar/Events tab) and the e- newsletter. It will be available continuously until all names
have been taken.
Sunday, November 8, sign-up in person, after church
Sunday, December 6, all wrapped gifts are due in the Parlor by 10:00.
Gifts may be dropped off in the church office during the first week of December, prior to December 6.
Please check with the church office for their office hours.
The coordinators of these agencies are extremely delighted and grateful for our continued support.
